RECIPE FOR BANANA NUT BREAD
Title: Banana Nut Bread

Instructions:

Banana Nut Bread

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3 medium bananas, mashed
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and mix thoroughly. Add bananas.

Sift dry ingredients and add to banana mixture. Stir in nuts. Pour into a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 minutes; then reduce heat to 350 degrees F and bake 50 minutes longer. Check with a wooden pick to be sure it is done. The top will crack.

This recipe can be doubled.
